George Kontopidis is a senior technology executive known for driving high-tech companies to their next stage of growth and development. His progressive career path includes technical leadership positions in consumer electronics, communications, wireless & mobile networking and instrumentation companies. He has held Director and VP of Engineering positions in start-up and medium sized companies, leading development of Embedded Software, End-to-End IoT services, DSP development and H/W development.

He has been actively involved in the architecture, design and implementation of numerous products such as, smart speakers, smart wearable devices, cloud-connected products, fast-trading financial appliances, industrial monitoring instruments, mobile video carrier equipment, multimedia integrated gateways, environmental & underwater instruments, etc.

Besides his accomplishments in the corporate world, he has been running a part-time consulting business; his clients included early stage start-up companies, instrumentation companies, and research institutions. He also taught project management courses for engineering at Northeastern University and experimental electronics at Harvard's Summer Extension School.

George holds a PhD in Signal Processing, Electrical and Computer Engineering, a MS in Automatic Control/Computer Engineering from the University of New Hampshire, and a BS in Electrical, Electronic and Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. He has been a member of multiple professional societies and groups such as IEEE, ACM, MIT Enterprise Forum, Mass Technology Leadership Council, Mass Challenge, and MITX.
